Excellent beer-battered Friday fish fry. Very tasty coating, crispy and thin, and servings are generous. Potato skins make a great appetizer, too. Will definitely return.

Steak and blooming onion were delicious! The New England clam chowder was very good also. Expect to wait a bit during the busy times to sit and to get your food. The only thing I would like to see changed is the dipping sauce for the blooming onion. It was what seemed like sour cream and chives mixed together. Not really flavorful. Otherwise the meal was good.

Stopped for a quick early dinner and grabbed a seat at the bar. The crock of French Onion Soup was fantastic. One of the few places that I've found that makes it properly. The broth is very flavorful and the cheese baked on just right.Ordered the Lobster Stuffed Baked Haddock which was very good. Had chunks of lobster and the haddock was light and flaky. The side of mashed potatoes was just alright. Highly recommend this place.

I wanted to love what is touted as a local gem, but I just couldn't get there. This place is quaint with old timey decor and a wait staff that reminded me of someone's granny.The service was average and the food was bland.My partner had a plain cheese burger and fries. As always, he ordered his burger well done. When he took his first bite it was slightly pink, as he got further in it was decidedly medium - bright pink all the way through. It also lacked basic seasoning. When we told the waitress she didn't seem at all concerned. He did enjoy his pizza log starter which is basically a pizza filled egg roll.On the back of the suggestion of the same waitress I ordered the fried haddock dinner. The batter tasted stale and was overly thick and gummy. The rest of my meal also lacked basic seasoning. I started with the garlic roasted mushroom soup which was not so garlicky and overly salty.The only bright spot was the cherry almond pie. The pie was delicious.

We had lunch reservations. The place was small and the tables were way too close together, literally inches away. In this day and age of social distancing I found this to be disappointing. The server seemed overwhelmed. The food was less than average, tasteless, with no presentation. Advice to the owner: instead of jampacking patrons into this tiny space, remove tables. It’ll give your servers breathing room and maybe the cook can do a better job of preparing dishes. We appreciated the gluten free labeling on the menu and the mafia history on the place cards.

We enjoyed this a lot. This is an older establishment that has kept itself fresh. It's clean, and cheery. It's a little bit spare, but you can tell that they have a busy season that takes up every square inch. I had the Rachel (like a rueben, but turkey) ant it was excellent. The waitress was great. Recommended.

The iced tea tasted like instant tea. The macaroni in the mac and cheese was so overcooked that it was very mushy. None if the dishes tasted like they had any seasoning. The chicken parm was okay except the breaded coating came off in one big glob.

Excellent food and service. Had the special Granny's Platter". My wife had the ravioli with vodka sauce. Both great choices. Will absolutely be back."

Seemed to appeal with the older generation. Staff appeared to be ru. Off their feet and a little tired. Our server was very matter of fact. Believe it was the end of her shift and it came across. Good selection of foods to suit different palates and appetites. A little pricey for what was offered. My husband chose the battered haddock with fries and coleslaw. It was delicious. I chose the baked haddock with cheese and crab with a side of sweet potatoe fries. It was very disappointing. Unfortunately it was bland and these ingredients didn't marry well as flavours. It was one of the specials of the day. For me there was nothing special about it. The sweet potatoe fries were the highlight.

We eat here 2 or 3 times a month. Food is good. Some things are a little pricey, but who isn't these days. Can be rather loud due to small dining area and tables are close together. Sometimes, they have some sort of music. Would recommend
